I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
